I actually had this last year in the summer. This is my favorite tasting beer! Flavor, sweetness and smoothness is precise! Hope Founders brings it back.

3 yrs old and still very smooth. Some tobacco, a bit of leather, very tannic but also sweet like... butterscotch? Not in a bad way... really good sipper tonight #BarrelAgedSundays

2018 Vintage- It turns out, that anything Founders Barrel Ages comes out beautifully. Big chewy mouthful, with maple sweetness rounding out a huge malty body. This is one of the best old ales I have had.

Fint fatpreg og rikelig med sødme. Forøvrig toner av brunt sukker og lønnesirup.

Love this one. Take a complex beer and make it complexer. Sweet, with some bite.

It lost a lot of the maple but it’s great with a chocolate chip cookie.
