#Stouters56 NLIP 2018 Founders Rules. This is classic Founders barleywine. So deliciously sweet and boozy warm.

Very easy drinking. Has a good sweetness to it. Lingering aftertaste. Slight maple flavors.

Not really feeling this. Super boozy. Warm from ABV. Should have gone for the dry imperial stout next to it. My bad.

Sweet plum, licory, raisin. Malty aromas. Dense beige foam. Abricot . Caramel/toast color. Very sweet in mouth. Silky. Boozy. Amazing barley wine!!

Founders is just fantastic. This is the best beer I’ve had with maple syrup barrel aging incorporated. Curmudgeon is such a good ole go-to, but this aptly named.

Nice creamy head. Looks like a Stout, Untappd calls it an old ale. Sweet, molasses and maple, up front malt. Has a nice oomph. Nice mouthful of flavors that don’t fade. 7/10 on the hairy scale. Very tasty.

If these 2018 four packs remain on shelves, I feel like I need to buy them until they're gone.

Linda coloracao avermelhada! Seu aroma é suave mas o sabor nos reserva uma incrível surpresa ao mostrar suas notas marcantes pela força! Paladar alcoólico tipico das Old Ales mas potencializado pela suavidade de sua permanência na boca aí final da prova!

Ale brewed with molasses and aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels

Three year old bottle - better than the one I tried fresh for sure. A bit more smooth and blended but still overly sweet from the molasses.

Sweet maple and molasses throughout, and it hides the alcohol almost completely. Interesting composition
