It’s okay. Lost nearly all of the character that makes it CBS.

New year means out w/ the old. I think I kept this a little too long. Everything about it is solid but I think I’m missing more maple

I found this early 2018 and have been sitting on it since. Sweet chocolate and coffee. Slightly boozy but overall, just sweet.

What a difference 5 years make! I loved this beer in 2017. Now, while still good, my 2nd bottle’s content is a shell of its former self. Subtle maple with notes of green bell pepper poking thru the roast coffee. Got any left? Drink up my friends!

This is one I won at the white elephant party at my favorite bar. Finally getting around to having it. This is very good.

Thinned out a bit. Not much maple flavor anymore. Still good though.

Definitely thinned out with age. Less maple. More coffee.

Just ok at this point. Nowhere near as good as fresh. But another dusty bottle out of storage.

Aged 4+ years. Huge, full tan foam. Nice chocolatey-coffee notes, but it’s lacking maple presence. Tiny bit of oxidation. Still a glorious BA stout.
