Maple forward with a barrel body, and a finish of chocolate and a hint of bitter malt. Coffee notes almost totally gone. Very sweet. Cellar aged.

750 ml- (2017) this sure has aged well, very smooth and mellow. As soon as we all get vaccinated and can get together, I need some help drinking some of the CBSs I have. Got go I. It’s raining

A couple week late birthday beer, great brew. All the flavors advertised. I believe an amazing brewery overall!

Wow what a cellar surprise. Rich sweet smooth and well rounded. Maple and brown sugar, mellow coffee and barrel. Exceeding expectations.

Actually not as good aged...u don't get the maple sweetness anymore so it's pretty much a normal barrel aged stout :/

Thick. Boozy. Maple syrup. Chocolate. Bourbon barrel. Dark vanilla syrup. Not much coffee notes. Tastes amazing now.

Huge thanks to Nolabeerlvr and Brad G. for this beer! Molasses, maple, & bourbon-soaked oak on the nose. Lightly bitter, boozy notes of burnt brownies, unsweetened cocoa, vanilla bean, & molasses on the palate. Just enough booze to keep you sipping slow.

When I first drank a CBS I rated it 5. I still believe it is a great beer, but I've now tasted so many other really great stouts, it's hard to judge this as perfect. It is really, really good though.

Perfect for a snow day. 2017 release, drank in 2021. Aged excellently. Smooth, no bite, chocolate stands out, cinnamon. Maple syrup mellows the booze but it’s not overly thick. Coffee is present but not pronounced. Would taste good over ice cream.
