That’s held up well. Not as rich or decadent as I remember it, but still excellent.

Aged well, get more of the barrel characters (oak, vanilla) compared to when released.

Screw 2020 beer 4ish. Oily, bourbony, sweet, chocolate peaks, but something not quite 'on' for me

Aging has dulled the maple a bit and intensified the alcohol presence. Better, I think, than the 2019.

Seems to have mellowed. I remember more recent years being maybe a bit too sweet? Coffee seems subdued. Chocolate is more present, and maple syrup is subtle. Still damn good

Complete with Mounty, this is my favourite CBS year and sadly my last bottle; the maple and coffee still present and perfectly balanced coming through nicely. Great beer, full of boozy sweet warmth.

Mostly coffee and dark chocolate at this point. A little Maple on the finish. Bombers age better

3 jaar terug sloeg ik hier steil van achterover.. het is nog steeds een geweldig bier maar ondertussen zijn er al heel wat brutere en boeiendere bieren de revue gepasseerd. Toch nog steeds bovenkant markt qua value for money
