Aged 5 years. Should've had it in 2017. Drinkable but no benefits occured.

I suspect I have kept this too long… and I probably have. The coffee is now stronger than I remember.  it’s really my fault so I won’t rate this time. I loved it years ago.

Holding up a bit better than the KBS, but still a shadow of its former self. Nice to revisit, and hold fond memories of this beer from its prime. Too bad the owners turned out to be racist pricks. 3 bottles left in the stash from initial 2-4.

Wow this is good. Age did it well. The artificial/maple sweets dropped out nicely.

Definitely on an aged beer kick. Found this beauty in my dad’s fridge. The maple comes forward strong, with the coffee muted. The last great year of CBS, really.

@ 1st was super bitter, almost gave up on it. Kept sipping, interestingly got better, able to pick up chocolate, bit of maple. Still carbed but not completely evident in the sip, more obvious in glass with barely a zip. Bourbon & barrel on the backend.

Largely dead. Some oaky bourbon lingers, but the nose is medicinal

A bit of a heavy beer for lunch but I had to come enjoy a glass when I saw it available, since this beer isn't even made any more (don't quote me), AND this was a favorite beer of my bro-in-law. Cheers to you bro! 🍻

Amazed at how well these held up. The Mountie remains the best. Maple and barrel are still there and still perfectly balanced.

Has fallen off considerably after five years. Not going to rate it. Very little of the original tastiness left.
