This is past its prime. Barrel on the nose. Taste of alcohol, bitternes and barrel. Waited for it to warm up. It got better, but at 14 degrees Celsius its still very unbalanced. Just bought it. Dont know how it was stored. Want to try this fresh.No rating

12.2% BBA Imperial Red IPA Aging this was a disappointment. There was muddy stuff in the bottom of the bottle which made it undrinkable. Second bottle poured only 2/3 and now drinkable. Barrel is still there, in fact it’s now mostly barrel

The bourbon flavor is overpowering of everything else. Which is too bad. There was body in this. Now only bourbon flavor

Flowry and perfumy nose. Great big taste with smooth cherry and a flowery feel and a peppery finish.

Red IPA with bourbon barrel aging. Well this is more balanced, they work together ok. Not like stouts but ok.
