This was a delightful surprise. I heard some good reviews but also heard it was extremely sweet, which I usually don’t like. However, it was damn near perfect, basically a better version of CBS IMO. I could drink this at least once a month.

Disappointed in this. Hopefully just a “bad batch” but very rarely do stouts disappoint us. After nearly 2 months without a beer we were hoping for much better.

I read somewhere that a 50/50 mix of KBS Espresso and Maple Mackinac Fudge was good. Can confirm.

Founders nails it again! This is a sweet dessert beer. I prefer less sweetness for beer, but there’s no denying the quality here. Deep, rich, chocolate, coffee, maple, and a chocolate nib bitterness on the finish.

Really nice chocolatey KBS. Boozy for 11% but very good.

Way too much cocoa, not a lot of maple. Bitter like dark chocolate, which I like. Not bad, but might be better with a little more maple flavor.
