Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Knoke

Cellar pull to celebrate new gig. Way past it's prime. Light body, slight espresso and cocoa. Finishes light and quickly fades. As expected, 7 years is to long for this one.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 12.4% Knoke

Cellar pull. More carb than expected. Past it's prime. Not much nose to speak of. Thin, mostly chocolate and molasses with slight coffee. Vanilla and oak in the finish.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Knoke

Cellar pull. Much better than I remembered. Fudge is the start but there is a nice espresso, roasted malt, chocolate covered cherry. Don't get much maple, but it's sweet. Abv well hidden. Yum

World Wide Stout (2016) Knoke

Find in the back of the cellar. Body has thinned out a bit but still a big ass beer. Port Wine, dark chocolate, malt, cherry. Yum

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) Knoke

I had forgotten how much I loved this beer with some age. This is past us prime but still delicious. The maple syrup is right up front. The old ale base is faded but the hops have survived with the raisin and oak.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Knoke

Lots of carb left. Compared to the 17 bcbs last night, this has faded hard. Light body. Bittersweet chocolate and espresso bean is up front. Vanilla oak and caramel on the dry finish. Lots of cocoa powder linger

Nemesis Knoke

Darker then a normal bw. Rich chalky malt. Sharp hop quality fades quickly.
