Heavy coffee on the nose and taste. Almost like a cafe mocha. Chocolate finish. Very good but minimal bourbon, will be nice to see how it ages.

Sweet with maple flavor. Good desert beer but couldn't have more then one.

This beer is not chocolatey. It doesn’t taste like maple. Apparently, Mackinac Fudge is a coffee they used. Who knew? I don’t love coffee stouts, that said, this stout is very good. Not worth going out of your way for, but very good.

Top shelf KBS new Maple Mackinac Fudge 2020 version. Starts chocolatey and coffeeish with maple and slightly vanilla boozy finish. The pride of MI, it bridges from Grand Rapids to the U.P. via the Mackinac Bridge

Wow so bold and flavorful. Strong coffee with nice hints of fudge. After a few moments the maple suddenly shows up.

Well, not exactly what I was expecting. Deep Chocolate layer, very light Maple (wanted more). And surprisingly, no Bourbon Layer which is normally what you expect from a KBS series. Coffee on the nose.

Chocolate to the max. Overpowers the coffee and barrel notes, but they’re still there. Boozy finish.

Holy sweet fudge, Batman, this is one good dessert beverage. Enjoying after a (Thanksgiving) trial run smoked turkey dinner. Bottled on 10/14/20

The movie, Mortal is absolute garbage. This beer is better than that movie. Then again, so is a poke in the eye.

I get the coffee and chocolate but it’s a bit thin. Not buying into the rating in this, good but not great.

I like the good balance between the creamy, thick, and sweet taste. Another good drink for a cold winter night.

Lots of maple sweetness. Getting the chocolate fudge as well as the coffee. The barrel heat is very subdued. Well done.

A: robust complex espresso roast rich fudgy chocolate brownie faint maple oak bourbon vanilla. F: amazing balance of adjuncts & base beer, wish the barrel was a bit more pronounced but super smooth 11% ABV. Great stuff. Not my fave KBS variant, but great.
