Ouderwetse koffiesnoepjes. Niet dik genoeg. Erg veel koffie. Drukt de andere mooie smaken weg. Waar is mijn maple. Heel lekkere ijskoffie.

The nose is straight fudge, roasty coffee notes dominate, but overall really solid.

Roasty coffee ☕ and subtle maple 🍁 on the finish. Pairs well with a late sunday breakfast 🥞 🥓

Last night - Second time having this in November, and I’m more impressed than I was the first time (up .1 to 4.2). The coffee and maple rock together amidst the barrel presence and roastiness. It has a better body than I initially gave it credit for. Yum!

Straight outta the beer fridge; bet it develops some more flavors as it warms in my hand. Nice, smooth booziness, chocolate and a hint of woodiness so far...

Dang good beer. May have been rated higher had I not drank it on the same night as 2017 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout.

I read somewhere that a 50/50 mix of KBS Espresso and Maple Mackinac Fudge was good. Can confirm.
