Go Cards. 1st bowl game in a while. Opening my last fudge bottle from 10-27-2020. Fudge flavor is back. Along with a bigger coffee note. Maple flavor has dissipated but it’s aged well and become very smooth.

Another bottle I’ve been aging since 2020. This aged perfectly! Tastes like chocolate milk with notes of bourbon and coffee. Absolutely phenomenal!

Day 16 of the KG beervent calendar brings another (and presumably based on bottle size, final) KBS! This one is a really solid, chocolate forward stout. Not too much maple. But good nonetheless!

I can now tell the difference between this type of stout and something that is barrel aged. Definitely on the thin side. Lowering my rating as I don’t think it stacks up to many other beers now. Maybe it didn’t age well?

Flaska från oktober 2020. Silkeslen och mjuk som ett moln i en tecknad film. Mörk chokladsötma, nötig karamell, toner av kaffe/espresso med en behagligt besk avslutning. Rund och fyllig, otroligt välbalanserad. Helt jävla underbart.
