Fudgey dark chocolate mixed with a sip of coffee. Honestly, 12oz was just enough but a pint probably wouldn't hurt either.

Precies wat ik ervan verwacht had. Koffie, chocolade, bourbon en ahornsiroop. Koffie heeft de overhand, de rest is aan elkaar gewaagd. Veel koffiebitters dus ervaar dit niet als heel erg zoet. In balans iig

Alright this is growing on me. First bottle I gave a 4.50. But this one, I’m getting tons of chocolate fudge and a nice slightly sweet maple finish to accompany the bourbon 🥃 🍁 🍫

Absolutely the most fudge I’ve ever tasted in a beer, but I wouldn’t seek this out again. Not much barrel, and the bourbon could have been kicked up a notch.

Black gold. Nice finisher after dry aged steak and a 30yo Bordeaux. A little too sweet though.

The nose is chocolate with hints of sweet maple. Chocolate is immediately present on the palate which becomes sweet with mild coffee notes in the middle. Hints and of maple set up for a pleasant finish. Fantastic beer.
