Imagine if Frootwood met Backwoods. It’s a smooth caramel sweet malty scotch ale with some oak characteristics and subtle but present cherry vanilla. Drinks very easy for the ABV.

Was lucky enough to try this one! Pours a dark caramel brown with a red tinge, with aromas of cherry vanilla. The mouthfeel is thinner but has very nice and smooth flavors of a cherry vanilla mix and the caramel notes from the scotch. Not much barrel.

We went down to Detroit but they thought is was ok to close the porch 15 minutes early!!!! Bitches!!! So I bought some to bring home was tasty and not too boozy! Only wish I could have had it on tap! I came all the way from MN to have it too! Damit!!!!

Very enjoyable. Sweet cherry up front and a vanilla finish. Neither flavor is overpowering.
