Very interesting. I can see what it probably used to be, but now it's a highly complex aged stout with those classic features. A bit sweet with perhaps some prune, a bit winey, and thoroughly delicious.

Digging for treasures in the beer cellar. This semi-sweet beauty could probably be cellared for a century without going bad but now is the time to enjoy it. Love how the coffee cuts through the maple syrup and bourbon vanilla notes. Amazing beer!

5 Jahre im Keller genug!? Für mich (zu)viel Kohlensäure, kaffeebitter am Anfang, später etwas harmonischer kaffee-maple-sirup-artig, bleibt allerdings wenig süß, herb, leicht kräuterig... dann doch lieber die jugendliche Variante 🤷‍♂️
