Aged for 5 years. WONDERFUL! Chocolate throughout, so smooth and slightly coffee/sweet profile.

Five years old, very mellow drinks more like a fine port. No taste of alcohol whatsoever. Absolutely delicious!

I'm going to say the 5+ years sitting in a bottle were starting to negatively impact the taste. Maybe best to only age 3 years. Weird flavors happening.

Is it Friday yet? Aged five years, I am stunned at how well the coffee notes have held up. Hardly any barrel flavor. Sweet maple has dwindled some but not a lot. Still a stunner!

At 5 years old, I am not sure aging did a ton. It is super sweet and not as harsh, but nothing huge. Maple syrup is still somewhat subtle - finishes with it.
