Ølet roper ut en tydelig beskjed: Når denne blir 6 år så er den ubalansert, rotete og ikke altfor digg. Bourbon (mer), sødme (mer), lønnesirupkompleksitet (mindre) og espresso (mindre, delvis sur).

Oak flavor noted after warming up a bit; coffee and dark chocolate flavor, not as strong as the KBS

Quite heavy on the flavors (perhaps a bit too much coffee, bourbon and syrup on the front). The stout malt bill seems hidden behind the other tastes like Sasquatch in the north woods. Ok, maybe not quite as elusive. Bring back the beer please.

Everything has faded in this 2018...just a hint of coffee and the faintest of barrel. Wish in would have tried it fresh

This tastes like if you had a wooden cup and you were drinking whiskey from it, then you poured the whiskey out onto a burning log. Then you made instant coffee, drank it from that mug, poured it on the log, then wrung out the log into the same cup . Bad.

Back in lockdown in Greater Manchester so may as well keep going through the “cellar”...much better than the 17 from last night. Maple still there but not lots, nicely sweet and balancing the roast. Bourbon coming through as sweet rather than woody. D*

Last night. Tasting great. Maple sweetness and dark chocolate stand out up front followed by coffee. Barrel is there but not a major player in layers. It’s more present in finish to boost complexity. The carb and full body are great on this as well.
