Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2016) Skrocki

Surprised me how delicious this was. I thought it would be good but this was more than that. Fruity, some nice bitterness, mild acidity. Love!

Rosé De Gambrinus (2022) Skrocki

Dug this as it warmed up. Jammy raspberry and some musty funk with some acidity that never overwhelmed. Always a treat to have Cantillon.

Lou Pepe Framboise (2015) Skrocki

Share with the dudes. Thank you so much for sharing, M O. Never thought I’d get to try this, let alone a 2015. Blind pour, had some great cherry notes - cinnamon, pits. Hints of raspberry but acidity was pretty mellow. Really well balanced and flavorful.

Classic Gueuze (2013) Skrocki

Tasting great with complex notes citrus, apple, peach, pear, vanilla, honey, white wine, vinegar, some musty basement. Balanced mouth-watering acidity with some oak tannins and a hint of sweetness. Great way to end the year. Cheers!

Fou' Foune (2014) Skrocki

This is 40…been saving this one for a special occasion. Tart apricot, peach, lemon, hay, white wine, brine, and oak. Dry, mouth-puckering acidity, gentle carbonation. This was lovely.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Skrocki

Last night. Tasting great. Maple sweetness and dark chocolate stand out up front followed by coffee. Barrel is there but not a major player in layers. It’s more present in finish to boost complexity. The carb and full body are great on this as well.
