This is rediculous good. Thick but SMOOTH. Vanilla for days, Then a robust chocolate depth that is not overly sweet. Not detecting any maple.. but if it is the foil to the sweetness it is perfectly done.

Maple and bourbon. Wonderful combination! Thanks Randy!

Haven’t had a new Founders in what seems like ages. Lovely dessert porter with sweet vanilla and maple notions, the bourbon BA providing some additional goodness. The only thing I lack is the intensity. It feels a bit light.

Hier is het geval van iets wat teveel vanille waardoor de maple, wat normaliter erg prettig is, er voor zorgt dat het geheel wat over the top aan zoetigheid smaakt. Ok-ish.

Yes, hele fijne! Drop en vanille in geur. Geroosterde mout, bourbon en lichte tonen van vanille en nougat in smaak. Lange en dunne afdronk met chocolade.

Let this one sit since trying it right away and still really nice!!

Tad bit thinner than the barrel aged stouts but good maple & vanilla, and slight bourbon in background. But its $16

Unexpectedly poor showing given my preferences & love for the brewery, especially given how Norm reviewed it. But, a hard pass. Maple & vanilla don’t integrate nearly as well as the CBS standard & it’s the 1st Founders’ beer that tastes at all artificial.

Good start to a stout tasting night...despite being a porter.

After almost a year of cellaring I get maple syrup and vanilla! This is much better aged as I am enjoying this very much!

Incredible aroma, pretty sweet but the maple is nice and smooth. Lighter body helps with the diabetes. Light lacing and head retention. Sugary sweet finish.

Good Sipping beer. When I tried to guess the ABV, BOY Was I off. I guessed 11%. lol Fun Fact: Daniel Radcliffe was allergic to his Harry Potter glasses.

Dark & toasty. The sweet is subtle and stays in the background.
