Remember having this at the Founders taproom during one of their cellar raids. Was blown away back then. Like the heat on this.

Fantastic. Not too roasty, like some porters can get, and the roasty bitter notes are balanced by a vanilla sweetness and bourbon touch that are great. Medium body and carbonation

Not the best aroma, but flavor is much better. Vanilla comes through with some barrel and caramel. Medium body

Awesome. Rich with heavy vanilla. Maple spice cuts through with a little bourbon. Easy to drink for nearly being 10%.

I usually don't like maple syrup flavor, but this was just right. When combined with the vanilla the sweetness really blended well with the bourbon.

Initially a ton of vanilla, light maple syrup, light barrel, followed by resounding bitterness half caused by roasted malt and half caused by hops. medium body, light carb, bitter roasty light vanilla aftertaste. It's fine.

I've had a few more, it's still decent but I marked it down a little. It smells wonderful and initially it tastes okay, it has an odd aftertaste that is slightly bitter or medicinal as someone else said.

Smell is sweet, a little medicinal. Middle has lots of vanilla and maple. Finishes on a little oak. Good rich mouthfeel. Not too sweet.
