Now that it has aged about six months, it's excellent.

Bottled 2.01.21. Smakar kaffe, choklad, lakrits, kola, läder, Bourbon, vanilj. Lite söt med brända toner. Smakar bra, men faller på en tämligen tunn kropp, vilket ger en något spritig upplevelse.

I don’t go for the heavy dessert beers as much anymore but this is fantastic. Creamy vanilla and maple syrup. Not too rich with a touch of smoke. Bourbon after the swallow.

So a vanilla bean and a bourbon barrel walk into a bar under a maple tree. Yes, it’s every bit as good as it sounds.

Sweet, loads of vanilla, powdery, a hint of maple. Sweet and boozy. Chocolatey, not a lot of barrel.

Thin mouthfeel but ok for a porter base. Vanilla is strong, a bit of maple, but not much barrel notes there. Good, but expected more after KBS maple fudge cake which was great.

Maple, vanilla and caramel malt aromas. Dark creamy persistent head. Sweet,vanilla on first sip. Then smooth full mouthfeel ( lactose? ) and soft bitter end! Nice balanced pastry stout. Although they call it porter

Synd att den inte sänktes till älgmiddagen, fast inte dum till ett par liters lingonrensning heller. Mycket smooth. Rätt tunn trots rumstempererad. Vanilj, lönnsirap, bourbon & choklad står för smakerna. Trots porter förväntades ändå mer kropp & booze.

Miam. Nez de bourbons érable. Goût doux, malt grillé, choco, gros bourbon et boisé, caramel , vanille et sirop d'érable. Léger moyen amer.
