My favorite Porter, without a doubt. The vanilla really shines through both on the nose and the initial taste. Highly recommend

A slightly barrel aged porter that is sweet. Good and dark. ALmost like not your father's rootbeer but not as sweet. Taste ends with barrel aged flavor. Can't detect the maple or vanilla alone as just enough is used to make it sweet

Endnu et hit fra Founders. Smager som sædvanligt af det der står på etiketten. Kaffe, vanillie, ahorn sirup, bourbon.. Doseret rigtigt! 4,3

Nose: milk chocolate, a little soy and dark roast, and whiskey.. Palate less sweet thank the nose promises, but we'll balanced with an ashy roasty finish.

Smell is char and sweet. Very sweet. Smooth. Dark lingering at the end. Good but not their best.

Dang that's a nice beer! Hard to believe it's 9.2%. The vanilla and maple syrup are subtle.
