Founder's doesn't disappoint. A fantastic porter with a heavy vanilla profile, with some maple on the back end. Perfect for a nice cigar

Metallic nose. Does this one need to be drank fresh? Not as good as I remember. A little vanilla.

I would leave the vanilla addition out, because the barrel aging will give that naturally. I am enjoying the maple syrup sweetness. It’s just on the right side of not too sweet.

Solid, thick, bitter porter base with maple adding sweetness before the bourbon kick comes along.

Roasty, with rich bourbon notes upfront over tasty coffee and chocolate. The maple comes on the back end, exceptionally smooth. Great beer.
