Really tannic flavor in there, like black tea. Still really enjoyable behind that

Tastes like a Hello Dolly cookie. Lots of coconut flavor. Not really my thing but I’m sure most will love it. Very smooth.

I had higher hopes for this one. The flavors were bland and muted when it was cold. As it warmed the barrel and vanilla showed up however at a low level. No maple to speak of unfortunately.

Equal amounts of maple, vanilla and roasted malt at first. Time to let it warm up a bit. 9.2% well hidden by barrel notes, maple and vanilla. Well rounded and tasty.

Nice roasty and bourbon flavors. Very smooth and little booziness- but it could use a smidge less vanilla. Excited to see how this ages.

Yo this porter is so good. The vanilla & maple combo is extremely tasty in this. None of the favors are too strong. And it’s bourbon barrel aged too!? Founders surprising me with a new brew

Nice Porter with some definite vanilla and maple. Not catching a lot of the barrel. Super smooth, no harsh alcohol bite (only 9.2%😁). Not overly sweet. Great Brew.

If yinz know me, you know I love a good barrel aged shelfie. I also love regular old founders porter. Pretty goddamn good for $4/bottle. Not a lot of barrel presence but the base is so good it makes up for it. Maple is a bit over the top

I'm usually not a fan of Bourbon barrel beers. This one is better than most I've tried. Vanilla up front, maple on the finish.

Hello Founders: How long did you age this in Bourbon barrels? I’m guessing about 3 days. Also, vanilla extract & maple syrup flavoring added? Didn’t you once have access to Maple barrels for CBS and Curmudgeon among others? This is embarrassing.

Started warm approx 55 degrees and it was good. Warmed more an opened up a lot...tons of vanilla and sweetness. Mellow barrel.

Pretty Great, the bourbon comes through without being to boozy, and there's definitely plenty of Maple and vanilla going on too
