One of the best porters I have had. Smooth creamy chocolatey. With the toffee colored head that just announces a superlative beer

Amazing!! Mapley, boozy, vanilla-y, malty....all the good things. Going down as an all time fave.

Smooth and sweet. Dark and rich. I like that it's a porter and not an imperial stout. That lightens the whole flavor profile from just another big boozy beer.

Superb and complex bourbon barrel-aged porter from the masters at Founders. Deep, robust notes of cocoa, maple, vanilla, and oak barrel warmth. Great slow sipper.

Bottle share from Manny. Sweet and syrupy. The syrup texture may be emphasizing the maple flavor. Boozy finish.

Just as good warm as cold. Kind of marshmallowy, a little boozy, smooth.

Very good. Clean and balanced. Not too syrupy and I get sweet, malty, vanilla and maple notes without a huge overly bodied beer.

His Royal Hancurness hancurman
Starts out smelling like a shot of bourbon, then the maple syrup and vanilla interact as the beer warms up and it comes into its own, like some sort of scented body powder. It’s altogether too sweet for my liking.

Paired with a bourbon bbq pulled pork sandwich and homemade chips (sorry no pic, I was hungry).
