Bought a 4-pack in late June. Went back and got the other 3 4-packs. Surprise find. All bottled on 10.08.2019. I think this was the last bottling release. Delicious! Same notes as the previous check-in.

Bottled on 10.08.2019. Tastes great for 3.5 yrs old. Bourbon, chocolate, and coffee. The maple flavor has diminished. Slightly boozy as it warms up.

KBS Chocolate Cherry (2022) Knee
A little sweet and a little bitter with the chocolate and coffee flavors. The cherry is not overpowering. The (chocolate) syrup and (cherry) juice flavors lower the quality of the overall taste for me. A little disappointing.

Slightly boozy. I don't remember it being boozy before. Toasted bread, molasses, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, bourbon. I think this bottle has been mishandled.

Prune, raisin, dried fig, caramel fudge, molasses. The hop bitterness is earthy. The hop forward and pine notes have muted 16 months since bottling. Very nice.

A little banana and clove. Definitely Weihenstephaner yeast. Not fond of the citrus and the body is thin for a hefe.

Great barelywine. Not overly hoppy like many American Barelywines and not too sweet like many European Barelywines. Perfect mix of both. Lots of roasted malts dark fruits (dates)and barrel. Lovely.

Smells like a pile of grapefruit (yuck). Doesn't taste too grapefruit bitter , but still bitter. I think the wheat and oats helps build up the body nicely.

Imperial gose. Not too sour. Brewed with agave, lime, and sea salt. Then aged on tequila barrels. Tastes like a margarita beer cocktail. Great!

Blue Agave nectar is certaily an interesting twist in a Belgian Tripel. Its tart. I can't decide if I like it or not.
