From memory: Wasn't a fan but appreciated what they tried. Aroma was pretty much Rum. Taste was also Rum with some tropical & citrusy taste possibly from the Mosaic hops used here. Some vanilla from the rum shines as it warmed up. Rum Runner of a beer.

It's got a boozy rum bite up front but it doesn't last long. Gives way to some coconut and mild hop flavors. 2018 Release.

Bottled 6-10. As expected the rum barrel notes dominate. Still a touch of heat @ the end. Def aged well but still underwhelming, esp by Founders BA standards.

Back of the beer fridge. Not bad. Not great. Better aged a bit.

Heftig sag! Stærk undertone af rom, stor maltsødme og knald på humlen, der dog bedøves noget af rommen.

Duften starter humlet. Der er lidt fadnoter i næsen. Smagen starter humlet. En lille smule græs. Rom fadet fornemmes mere i smagen. Den høje alkoholprocent fornemmes.

Bottle number three of four. This beer really hasn’t changed much. A floral fruitiness on the nose. It is still sweet, hoppy, rich and bright. Maybe it’s the rum barrel that has stabilized this IPA🤷♂️

Boozy mosaic hopped ale aged in rum barrels. Not too bad for $4 bottle.

Ret heftig og unik øl… Jeg tror ikke nødvendigvis den er blevet bedre af at have ligget et par år, jeg husker der var mere knald på humlenoterne.

It now has an odd smell to it and has lost a lot of its booziness… grand experiment tells me don’t hold onto these for long.

Smooth with som caramel and toffee notes. A bit syrupy but doesn’t drink like 11%. Good barrel aged beer

This a 2018 - been sitting in the cellar for five years and opened a couple days late for my fifth anniversary. Strong hop and dark rum flavor on first sip followed by oak, char, and malt.

Huge beer... bold flavour, big alcohol, harsh at first but got better with every mouthful, Rum barrel flavs def there. Wouldn’t say no to another.

Medium krop og lille krone med virkelig potent spritet aroma smagen er faktisk markant lettere end arosmen og sødmen fra rommen redder godt balancen mellem sprit, maltet dybde. Klassisk ale malt kombi og fint afrundet
