Aged well. I probably like it better now than back when it came out.

Much lighter a few years on, like an IPA with delicate tropical flavors.

Cellared 30 months on accident. Ha. Held up better than I expected. Rum mellowed out a ton.

Zijdezacht, alsof je een cracker met abrikozenjam in de rum doopt en er wat gin over sprenkelt. Gezien de rating zouden meer lieden deze op 18 graden kunnen proberen.

Zicht: donkergeel, helder, fijn schuim. Geur: rum overheerst, weinig hop. Smaak: erg zoet, rum, alcohol, licht bittere nasmaak. Valt tegen, ik had er meer van verwacht.

Bottled 6-10. As expected the rum barrel notes dominate. Still a touch of heat @ the end. Def aged well but still underwhelming, esp by Founders BA standards.

Aldrig förut druckit en öl med så mycket rom. Smakar mest rom. Spritig rom. På en romskala från 1-5 så får denna en sexa. Fattar ingenting. Måste nog va knall som en rymdraket för att ge höga poäng till den här. Men jäkla kul grej att testa. Os ur käft!

It's got a boozy rum bite up front but it doesn't last long. Gives way to some coconut and mild hop flavors. 2018 Release.

Sweet, nicely hoppy, definitely some rum in there, but somewhat heavy.

I checked. This IS a 2018. Huge bourbon aroma. Well aged. The hops make an interesting mix with the rum nuances. This is definitely a sipping beer. But really good

From memory: Wasn't a fan but appreciated what they tried. Aroma was pretty much Rum. Taste was also Rum with some tropical & citrusy taste possibly from the Mosaic hops used here. Some vanilla from the rum shines as it warmed up. Rum Runner of a beer.

Still good! Got a little soapy with time, but not necessarily in a bad way. Definitely better at room temp.

From the cellar...barrel-aged tropical style ipa....held up well..rum comes through mostly...still has a nice hop bite..bottled on 06/05/2018!

Medium krop og lille krone med virkelig potent spritet aroma smagen er faktisk markant lettere end arosmen og sødmen fra rommen redder godt balancen mellem sprit, maltet dybde. Klassisk ale malt kombi og fint afrundet
