Presque sec pour le style. Plus de malts torréfiés que de moût bouilli. Y a du houblon en tout cas c'est bien amer. Pas mon équilibre.

This tastes like someone mixed a barleywine with an extremely bitter, hoppy west coast IPA. Three years later and it hasn’t gotten any better. Will probably be a drain pour.

Sweet like cotton candy with an orange twist. Then the hops kick in with a very dry finish. Interesting beer.

Not a huge fan. Not really distinctive. Sort of a slightly boozy resiny brown.

Not at all what I’ve expected for years. Bitter and roasty. Tastes like a thin (from the abv) cascadian.

Not bad but not exactly great? It's a hoppy malt mixture but missing that caramel smooth barley wine finesse

Malty start with a hard transition to hoppiness. Very drastic and stark transition.

Always love me a good barleywine......too bad this isn't one of them. Just tastes boozy and bitter. Not well balanced at all.

Strong and herbal with hops and malts backing it up. Dripping with flavor. I personally love the 11%, especially for an afterwork beer. I wouldn't say this is incredible, but it is an affordable venture into above average beer. -RnB

Pretty hoppy. Not a big fan, but guessing my friends will be.

Wanted to like this more but no sweetness of depth just malt.

I was excited to see them bring this back. I haven't had this since I was at the brewery in 2010. Sadly, they over hopped this batch. It's not the same... Too bitter. Damn it! 🤬🤬

Not a typo barleywine. Not as sweet as was expecting has lots of bitterness giving it more of a juniper taste

Would rate higher if kit considering style. More like a stout or strong ale than anything else I would pick.

Insanely bitter, odd roasted note, pine, sticky malt, Founders yeast, wood, incredibly astringent. Medium body, light carb, bitter and slightly roasty aftertaste. Yikes, this is tough.

A lot of bitter hop even for an American barleywine. A hint of stout roast as well.

Bracing bitterness. Hits you with a ton of rye bread malt flavor and a pale ale level of hops. Leaves you with a boozy dry grain aftertaste.

I love Barley wine but this seems like it’s missing something .

A hoppy barleywine? Different. Good strength. Not getting much of the barleywine flavors - fairly simple overall. Way too much carbonation on pour - meh mouthfeel. Good hoppy finish - one positive. Not bad but so many better out there
