It was excellent in a category I really don't like. I appreciate the relatively dark malts involved.

Full bodied barley wine. Can taste the roasted malt. Probably will sleep good tonight!

So much going on in this beer !. It's like a cross between a bock and ipa. Definitely would drink this with a New England fish fry meal 😋 great job Founders! Overall well put together!

Aroma: drop karamel chocolade gebrand mout. Smaak: bitter koffie peated. Nasmaak: bitter koffie geroosterde mout alcohol

Zoet vol en rond met een verassende afdronk. Piney staat bij het flavor profile. Dit is mijn eerste barley wine. Door die afdronk wordt het niet te zwaar en zoet. Bier met twee gezichten. Goed.

Slet ikke dårlig. Lægger sig bredt på tungen, eftersmagen er lige i overkanten måske.

11.2% abv, 75 ibu. Bam! Another great barleywine like beast. Due to the less hops they used this one is kinda dry and bitter. Roasty toasty, full, boozy, licorice, vanilla, dry fruits, umami, cinnamon, spicy... 4.10 ish rating

Zacht, soepel en verwarmend. Weinig geur. Bitter hoppig en caramelzoet qua smaak.
