This barley wine is underrated. Anyone that rates this under a 4 either doesn’t like barley wines and shouldnt be rating it or is a total idiot. Its a great ale. Period.

Huge amount of roast and bitterness for a barley wine. Tastes like an imperial Black IPA

Bitter, but very malty. Almost brown ale esque. Can be a tougher drink, especially in the heat.

Bready and caramelly aroma with some piney hop aroma and flavor. Roasty finish that is kinda out of place and detracts from it.

It’s like a Barleywine but not quite. Heavy malt profile, thicker-than-a-snickers, and a pleasant amount of hops round this beats out. Oh! And a touch of sweetness.
