Nothing pops in this…malty sweetness? Piney hops? Biscuity caramel ? Where!?!?

Great flavor with a lot of caramel. Not a ton of sweetness and just the right amount of bitterness to balance it. Honestly feels closer to a Stout than a Barleywine just because I’m so used to Barleywines being sugar-bombs.

Picking up some pine hops and hints of caramel. Good barley wine

Good smell. Very strong beer. Probably the best Barleywine I have had but too strong for me.

Black. Malty, roasty, bitter. Some pine and hoppiness. Full bodied smooth brew.

The hops take away too much from the barley wine taste

Roasted, smokey, hoppy n strong. A full flavour barley wine that goes down well. Carefull as it is strong as a tiger.

Vrij moutig, beetje bitter, maar vooral veel koffie. Niet slecht, maar mist wat zoets.

#beerforbricks quelle amertume ! C'est bien mené même si ça couvre un peu les autres goûts qu'il faut chercher un peu plus.

Dark and hoppy. There beers in this category I like. This isn’t one of them. Wicked lingering aftertaste

Heerlijke karamel in de neus. Zoutige toetsen op de tong. Bitter.

Not for the price. Not like my usual Batleywines.

Different than any other barleywine I’ve ever had. Darker (beautiful dark mahogany color), more bitter, and oh so delicious

It's roasty and malty with a hoppy backbone. The caramels come through, as do the raisins and bready notes. Thanks T B.

Beautiful dark color with an amber hue. Sweet woody on the nose. Burnt caramel, a touch of smoke. A touch of honey. Really nice! Not as sweet as most barley wines but definitely unique and drinkable.

Infinitely better than Highball Drifter, but still not something I would seek out.

Peak Founders creative here. Rich, dark wood feel that calls for slow sipping.

Very boozy on the front end but finishes nice and smooth with heavy roast flavors and lots of hoppy bitterness.
