I think Founders literally took every hop out there and ground them up to make this.

Big, bold, barleywine. Delicious! 1/2 the price of many of their other specialty / seasonal beers.

One of my favorite styles and this is a prime specimen. Deep, rich raisins and molasses. Medium body and sweetness hide that high abv.

Interesting flavor combo; hoppy/piney, boozy, and some malty caramel sweetness.

Väldigt trevlig onsdags-barley med lagom knäckighet och rejäl beska. Påminner en hel del om Bigfoot.

Really yummy! Strong, hoppy bitterness & piney undertone fresh & cold from the tap. Tempers as it warms up, bringing out the malt and sweetness. Hoppy bitterness a touch overpowering, but otherwise excellent.

Typically not a barley wine fan but this is the tits. Toasty, hoppy, coffee, more like a fantastic stout.

3.6⭐ Late late supper. Roasted malts, caramel and bitterness. Totally okay with food.

The hoppy after taste was a surprise. Sweet upfront and malty throughout. Yum!

Mooie barleywine, zoet en wat geroosterd, warm met een klein bittertje op het eind.

Had to break out the good stuff to deal with these miserable Lions.

Like a super hopped bitter stout with a slight metallic taste. Has a roasted coffee, chocolate like taste. Good stuff. Strong and tasty.
