Roasty bitter coffee, caramel sweetness, hoppy, lingering charred roasty malts. This stands out to me amongst the admittedly small number of barleywines I’ve had as leaning much more towards hops and bitter charred malt profile. Interesting beer.

Boozy raisins on the nose, similar taste, some ash from age and some toffee resinous remains. I doubt this will get much better. American barleywines are just built for speed not for distance.

Biskwie, cacao, koffie, dennennaalden, caramel. Smaken vloeien mooi in elkaar over. Bitter 3/5, zoet 2/5, umami 2/5. Weinig body. In de afdronk dennennaalden en laurier.

接近黑的深棕色，很苦，但也能感受到甜，草药的苦，烘烤的苦，还有类似松树的苦，香料的味道，麦芽，层次比较复杂，一开始可能会令人抗拒，但是并不甜腻，也能从中感受到复杂的层次。不能说好喝，但还不错。3.8 2023.6.5
