Feels like it’s missing something. Kind of bland, but not too bad. Lots of maltiness.

Sort of like a barely wine. Lol. Glad its high gravity

Barleywines don't benefit from heavy hopping. Label should say "do not drink fresh."

Huge beast of palate-wrecking hops and malt overload! Delicious and massive! Take it easy with this, boss...

Tastes better than the last one I had. The taste grows on you. Still not the best haha

So excited this is back. Big toffee and resin flavors. Chewy but not lingering. I missed this beer.

Another one I brought back from Ohio, but it appears it may have gotten some distro out here in the PNW. It’s solid. Bitter up front, a solid malty/caramel finish.

Barley wines are my Nemesis. This one is kind of void of the typical flavor associated with them. 11.2%

Little bitter on the back end, but an overall nice flavor profile.

This beer is definitely different. It tastes like a stout and an IPA were mixed together. It's not terrible but I don't think I'd buy another 4 pack.

Malty up front that slides through a 🍫 chocolate note and ends with an ever so slight boozy ending.

Thanks William the Dr B. I took one with us to the Deep South.

This is my second time trying this beer. Don’t care for it. Initial taste is a Barleywine/IPA. It leaves an bad aftertaste immediately.

Interesting take on the style. If you like Barleywine you should try it.

Very aggressive. Even as an American style Barleywine, it's over the top bitter/roasty, really tastes more like a black ale/ipa.
