Not like your other beers. Get the best flavor of the beer is not real cold. Try and enjoy.

Hoppy nose. Thin to medium body. Roasty malt. Earthy, herbal hop flavors. Slight piney hop notes. Smooth. Good barleywine

Ça y est je kiffe les Bareley. Notes café, torréfiées, grillées très présentes, texture épaisse et amertume nette mais qui vient réveiller le tout. C’est bon même si je préfère quand il y’a plus de rondeur.

I get this more like a porter with some rum-barrel like notes. Not necessarily like a barley wine with that roasty content. Nice bitterness to stand up to all that malt and booze. Not undesirable.

There is a lot going on with this one. More hops than I would have expected, with a toasty flavor as well. One to drink slow

Zowel het bier als de SuperBowl was spannender dan ik verwachtte.

Dark malt is more chocolate than roast/coffee which I think helps it play better with the hops.

Mooi zoet moutig aroma met hop. Typisch BW-American. Honing. Rozijntjes. Yeasty-ish. Roast. Smaak is iets hoppy, roasty, (laurier)drop, moutig, subtiel zoetje en een roasty finish. Randje booze. Subtiele bitter. Prima Barley 👌🏼

For a American IPA which tends to be a lot more hoppy it's very good. Notes of toffee, honey, toasted malt, citrus and pine. At 11.2% this is definitely a sipper It's good to have an American barley wine again. It's been a while. They should barrel age it

Drinks like a black IPA but tastier and more alcohol. Good!

From the beer cellar. Year-aged, but still a pretty formidable nemesis. Big, tongue-lashing malts and substantial hop overload. Yep, a strong and well-done barleywine.
