Breakfast Stout (2024) Jenkins
Roasty, creamy, smooth. Roast coffee, bitter, chocolate.
Super, sweet blueberry syrup. Chocolatey, bourbon. I am not liking this as much as I did earlier.

Can pour. They offered me to drink out of the can. Probably should have taken them up on it. I would have the differing artwork in the pic then. Tip for next time. Roasty punkin with brown sugar, nutmeg and allspice.

A little overhanded on the blueberry. Chocolatey ganache with coffee.

Bready, hoppy and sweet. Seems a little hot. But I haven't had one in a while.

All I am tasting is chocolate and espresso. Like the barrel aging didn't happen. Thanks, FlandersNed

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Jenkins
Maple and bourbon right away with eggy toast, cinnamon & vanilla. Must be something wrong because I seem to like this way more then most. Thanks, FlandersNed

Breakfast Stout (2023) Jenkins
According to this I have NEVER had Breakfast Stout, but I know that is untrue. So much chocolate and roasty coffee. Creamy and yet some how dry.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Jenkins
Gonna be a slow sipper one and done kind of night. Boozy and raisin on the nose. Can't remember the last 120 i had, but it is malty, boozy w/ raisin. Don't even taste like 120. Vanilla. Slowly it is getting hoppy and citrusy.

Pretty sweet. Plenty of grapefruit juice and blue agave sweetness. It does have this tequila like flavor to it. And either it has a light smoke flavor or it was put in my head( thank you Black Flag!).

Curmudgeon's Better Half Jenkins
We are not sure of the year. Nothing printed on the label. No retail tag. Nothing. It tastes old , but not oxidized. Bourbon and hints of mint. Not getting syrup or molasses. It's not bad. Drinkable.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Jenkins
Coffee on the nose with maple syrup and coffee up front on the taste. Creamy and chocolatey. Does not taste like a 17% at all.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Jenkins
Coffee, chocolate. The bourbon seems light to me today.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Jenkins
Chocolatey, fudgey, coffee and bourbon. Bourbon seems light, buy still good.

If for nothing else, I really enjoy the differing artwork from year to year. The beer is solid with pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. What is Autumnal? Is that really a flavor?

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Jenkins
Chocolatey, fudgey and coffee. Not tasting any bourbon.

Bourbon on the nose. Bready, bourbon, vanilla notes. The barrel seems to cover up the beer, but still pretty good.

Juicy & soft, but still malty and bitter. Light soft rye bread with juicy pineapple. Now if I can find the Trillium version..

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2015) Jenkins
Thick and chocolatey. Still has a nice coffee flavor, though it may have faded a bit. Bourbon notes do seem stronger. Tastes more oaky/woody then they usually do. Still very good and for SEVEN years old? Fantastic. As always, thanks, FlandersNed.

Slightly sour with lime zest and salt. A nice light zippy sour that you can crush all day long

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Jenkins
This is thinner then I expected(medium). Get all kinds of notes. Rich, thick chocolate, roasty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, plump raisins, plums, blueberry/blackberry, bourbon, rum, vanilla and some wood. Thank you, FlandersNed.

A 2015 in 2022! Over 7 yrs! I like this better the 2nd time. Tastes like toasted multi grain bread with a few drops of molasses. I'm noticing some oakiness/woody notes along with vanilla. I have some sediment in the bottle that will not come out. Bummer.

Where the Wild Hops Are Jenkins
A blended WC IPA and wild ale. Aroma is citrusy and piney. But the taste? Not sure how exactly to explain it, but I like it. Piney, resin and......fresh white oak? May have to get another.

A 2019 in 2012. 3 years old. Still seems really thin. Lots of coffee & chocolate. Bourbon & vanilla.

Curmudgeon Old Ale (2015) Jenkins
2015 in 2022. I bought a couple of these before this place shut down forever. This is a bit sweet, malty and grainy. I get molasses and caramel and some oaky notes. Good for being 7 years old and questionably stored. Still thought it would be different.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Jenkins
Rich, chocolatey, fudgey, roasty coffee and mapley. I get tastes of the bourbon, but not any barrel. I really like the flavors, but they seem to mask the nuances of the barreling. Anyway, thanks FlandersNed.

Breakfast Stout (2011) Jenkins
A 2011 in 2022. Thick. Chocolatey. Smooth. Not getting any coffee. Drinkable, but not what it should be.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Jenkins
Either this has aged very well or the extra two years of drinking experience has helped. Maybe a bit of both. Roasty, sweet, boozy & thick. Roasty coffee, dark chocolate cake, maple, vanilla & bourbon.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2014) Jenkins
2014 in 2021. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate. Tastes of chocolate, coffee and bourbon. Boozy. Seems thin. Syrupy.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2012) Jenkins
2012 in 2021. Tasting great after 9 yrs. Thick and rich. Lots of bourbon, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, a touch of honey & vanilla. I was getting charred/burnt oak at first, but haven't since.

2013 in 2021. Malty, roasty, chocolatey. Super smooth. Grainy. Almost by default. 8 years old.and still drinkable? Damn, son!

Everything about this beer seems light to me this year. Light color and taste. Pumpkin, brown sugar and some spices. Not what I recall from 2019.

90 Minute Imperial IPA (2021) Jenkins
Hoppy and malty. Seems it has a bit of citrus. Not sure.

A bit disappointing. It says Peanut Butter Fudge stout. I get dark chocolate/cocoa and a hint of roasty peanuts. Where is the fudge? Too thin. Not enough peanut butter. Maybe it was better I didn't share with the guys. Anyway, thanks, FlandersNed.
Tastes and aroma of coffee, chocolate & vanilla. It took a few sips to notice the bourbon notes. Not really boozy at all, but it will definitely warm you up.
Haven't had one in almost 3 years. Figured I would revisit. Aromas of roasty coffee & chocolate. Tastes are chocolate & caramel.

An 8% Cream Ale? And I thought it was an IPA. Oh well. It is light, sweet & flavorful. I get vanilla, ginger, cardamom and anise. The first few sips were a bit rough, but it has evened out. 1st Imperial Cream Ale(if that is even a thing).
