Complex malty flavor with a taste of coffee and a subtle bitterness on the finish.

Will have to have this one again, not exactly what I was expecting for barleywine.... dinner turned out very well!

Nice tan head that stays and a very hoppy nose. Malty and sweet but nicely balanced with the hops. Expecting to get more booze when it warms up. Great to celebrate getting another dumb project

Amazing! All the flavors I love packed into one all too easily drinkable beer!

I know I've had this B4 but.. Plenty of bitterness. Semi-dry finish. Excellent.

Very drinkable. Definitely not a traditional barley wine. Enjoying the bittering hops. Is there a category for an imperial hoppy brown ale?

Oh! A new rival appears! Aroma is strongly malty & hoppy; toffee with earthy, herbal & piney hops. Taste reflects the aroma, getting some toasted grains to go with toffee/caramel sweetness. Hops just balance out the malts. Pretty normal barleywine. 👍

remember having and loving this back in the day.... chasing it down at Vinnin liquors... thanks Eddie E.

Got served cold on tap, initially tasted very bitter hopped and ethynol- heavy. Let it warm up, now its amazing. Much sweeter and smooth. Goes to show how much temperature affects taste.

Nice to see a new barleywine at the store. Get a whiff of cascades hops. Solid.

I'm more into the English-style barleywines, but still very tasty.

Hoppy nose. Sweet and malty offset by a lightly bitter hop bite. Pretty good barleywine.
