Au nez on a la chaleur alcoolique et le malt tendance caramel. En bouche, sirupeux mais pas très moelleux, avec la forte amertume qui sature rapidement le palais.

Had to reach back to get #1 in the series. Whew, you ain’t kidding w/ that name. Too many flavors to name, too strong to try.

Roasty with notes of coffee and chocolate and a little bit bitter

A malty wee-style. Really bitter. Malts kick in first, and then in the end, the grape. Unique.

Getting less roast and more aged barely wine flavors. Tastes good!

Roasty malty, with some light prunes undertones. Hoppy bitter notes leading to the finish. Warming alcohol tones.

Not sure why I never logger this. From 2021. A tad harsh as I recall.

A bitter barleywine. Mellow and semi sweet malty taste. Finish of old hops yet with a sharp bitterness. The bitterness get more accentuated as it warms up, interesting. Oh so boozy 😅

Sorely needed after this long day in “how long does it take to put a label on ’it’” “drug-land”. Boozy and bitter, like my mood

Delicious barleywine. Loving the bitter hop notes mixing with the roasted barley notes. Got it for $4.99 for a 4 pack.

*Very* strong, very thick, very bitter. I liked it ok but it was a little overpowering. I might have liked it more in a 6 oz bell glass than a full bottle.

Rather disappointing... roasty maltiness but almost astringent.
