This is a beer I've been interested in trying for awhile and considering it's non barrel aged life it's something I haven't had much of recently. I really dig this and it should only get better with age. #BIL

Acidic, Roasty, Bitter. But absolutely delicious and smooth. Never thought I’d say all of those together. But yeah, this is delicious. Check the video for our full review!

An excellent very dry very hoppy barleywine. Not boozy at all. Don't know what everyone else is thinking.

I'm beginning to understand why Chuck loves Barley Wines so much. They've nearly won me over too.

With the roasted malts I get more of a black ipa. Either way very well done. Seek. Find. Buy. Drink. Enjoy. You’re welcome

Founders honors craft brewers with this barley wine beer. Awesome. Hits all the flavor categories listed.

Thick and malty. Some coffee bitter. Goes great with bourbon. I see why these are usually bourbon barrel aged. Good stuff and an interesting beer since it's not barrel aged.

Possibly the best Barleywine I've ever had. Hoppy, bitter like a Barleywine, with the roasted malts like Founders porter. Super unique and awesome beer that stands alone.

Well this is a fun surprise! Extra dark with a hint of red, bright resinous hops, complex flavor of dark roasted bitter malt, burny/sticky hops, super strong, roasty dry backend

It's very well balanced. Roast and sweet and alcohol. Not syrupy or cloying.
