4-1-17 version drank 12-22-2023 is still a great beer. I know they released ot when it was ready. But is was still great

Why not a coffee stout vertical at 9pm? 😑 This one is super tasty though. The coffee is pretty subdued but the bourbon really jumps out at you with a chocolatey roastiness. Served too cold but it blooms nicely after warming up a bit.

6 years old and wow - smooth and delicious. Can detect coffee or chocolate, but bourbon barrel aging hit me first, which I love! Wonderful.

Founders is weird about storing stuff - they are opposed to it. But this 2017 has held up just fine.

6 years on this is just perfect on draft. Comparing to BCBS and others the sweetness is muted and you still get that burn.
