Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017)
I found this in the back of my beer cellar. From back before it became a year round beer. Almost 8 years old now. Strong espresso with a hint of bourbon. It's still a good stout, but nothing special anymore.

Boozy French toast in a bottle. Maple syrup and cinnamon in just the right balance.

Kind of meh to me, but that's not the beer's fault. My previous beer was a Hopslam. 😂

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020)
Big and boozy. Chocolate, molasses, bourbon.

I'm not a fan of this label. I wish I had a bottle of the previous one. I did save a bottle with the empty highchair label. I believe that was 2015 and mandated by Michigan LCC.

Ginger Smiles Rum BA Golden Ale (DTRX) 2021
Rum, ginger, and guava. I first had this at their taproom. My taste buds must have been in a totally different place for me to buy 2 bombers. I'm not a fan of this now.

Bottled on 9/22/16. 11.2% ABV. Smokey, peaty, sweet, warming. I didn't know I still had one from that far back. Held up nicely.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022)
Liquid French toast. Bourbon, lots of maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla. Sweet and boozy.

Not sure about this one. Does an Oktoberfest Märzen really need to be BBA?

Starts out as mango on your tongue. Finishes as habanero down your throat. Love the sweet heat.

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - VAT 110 Mono Blend (2016)
This is my favorite of the 4th that were packaged together. Dry, tart, and a bit fruity.

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend (2016)
"This Oude Geuze is full-bodied, complex and has notes of spices and smokiness as a result of the oak foeder. The oak cask clearly positively contributes to the Lambic aroma. Brewed on 11/16/2014, bottled on 12/16/2016." Very oaky, moderately funky.

Maple syrup bourbon barrel-age black ale brewed with biscuit and chocolate malt and molasses. SFG

This might be the least Bourbon tasting BBA beer I've ever had. Other flavors are fine.

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne VAT 91 Mono Blend (2016)
Foeder 91 was originally a calvados cask in Normandy. Soft, subtle apple and oak notes. Brewed 1-7-15. Bottled 12-19-16.

Lots of cinnamon and a lesser amount of cocoa. I would have preferred them reversed. Still a fine KBS varient.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021)
This is as close to Utopias as my budget allows me to get. Boozy chocolate vanilla caramel goodness. Thanks Kdog for picking these up for me.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter
Bumped the rating .25 from last time. Still not sold on it.

Lip smacking and bursting at the seams. Burst IPA pops with a slight bubble gum aroma followed by fresh citrus and orange pith. Light to medium body finishing with a juicy grapefruit bitterness. Solid West Coast IPA.

Bees In the Peach Trees Braggot
Far right. Soft, juicy peaches, rich Madagascar vanilla beans, a touch of spicy cinnamon mingle with sweet buscuit malts & honey from Bees in the D!

Center. Cerveza is a collaboration beer with our friends from Mahou. Simply put, it’s a crushable session lager. Tasty.

Brewed with Great Lakes Coffee’s Guatemala roast, this coffee cream ale features soft notes of coconut to create a light, well-balanced blend of sweet malt and roastiness reminiscent of a delicate praline latte.

I'm liking this more than most. The golden strong ale is hidden behind the ginger and guava. Rum barrel aging could use some mellowing out. Think ginger ale with a shot of Don Q 151 rum. All that said, I like it.

Trying out my new Yeti-style bottle and can cooler. 12oz bottles (stubby and long neck), 12oz cans (beer, soda, seltzer), and 16oz cans and aluminum bottles all fit. Plus it fits in cup holders. The beer is good, also.

Mas Agave Clasica Prickly Pear
It doesn't seem to be as sweet as when I had it in the taproom in March. Nice sweet/tart blend with a touch of salt.

Maple Barrel Aged Frangelic Mountain Brown
Maple and coffee. From the Mothership. Don't say damn, say whoa!

Malty, boozy and bitter. 18 holes of golf under bright sun, and now an 11.2% beer. I hope they wake me for dinner.

Far left. Single hopped IPA featuring Paradigm hops. Known for its stone fruit, citrus, and tropical qualities. I'm really liking the bitterness.

Bottled 12/20/16. Cherry sweetness. Not getting the maple syrup. Bourbon is but a remnant on the back end. Still tasty.

Tastes like a dark chocolate raspberry creme from a box of fine chocolates. Very sweet dessert beer.

Chocolate and coffee up front. Maple and Bourbon are barely there.

I need a better system to keep track of what's in my beer fridge. Malty with a bitter finish.

It's been 4 years since I've had this hop monster. As good as I remember it. 112 IBU to fry your taste buds. 12% ABV to fry your brain cells.
