(4.2) simple yet elegant. The bourbon barrel appears clear and strong together with significant dark chocolate and roasted espresso coffee along with slight syrup and vanilla sweetness.

Nose is suuuper malty with some bourbon notes. Taste is dark'n'malty with loads of chocolate and coffe bringing alot bitterness followed by bourbon/vanilla-boozyness and a subtle sweetness. This is one for the super dark and heavy fans.

Intense and dark with bitter cocoa, rum and raisin and coffee. No sweetness, would prefer a little more but after 5 years it may have been swallowed up

Börjar klinga av och få en liten dammig ton. Men fortfarande en trevlig chokladighet och lätt bourbonsötma.

Enorm zachte geur met chocolade, vanille en lichte koffie. In smaak schommelend van scherpe koffie naar zachte chocolade en kokos, maar toch mooi in balans. Afdronk is droog, geroosterd en zachtbitter.

Fantastiskt. Kaffien, sjokkisen og fadet e veldigt integrerte delar av ølet. Smage herligt (og kraftigt/sterkt)

Nog steeds zo smooth. Iets minder zoet en iets droger, koffie lijkt wat meer aanwezig in vergelijking met een verse. Echt super voor een stout van 5 jaar oud

Bli bærre ber å ber henninj. Sjoko å vanilje i lokt. Bitter kaffe, sjoko å russiner ti smatjinj. Faan så gaitt! Laang ettersmak av kakkaobønner.

4.45 Easily has the most complexity from the ones over the past few days, (flavor on this just keeps rolling and developing), but I think I might enjoy ‘18 by a hair.
