Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Whiskey taste not really coming through - seems like more of a barleywine

Promising but not great, toffee, vanilla, and such

Funky, boozy, fruity! A tiny bit of smoky flavor.

Cocktail beers aren't typically my go-to but this one holds its own.

I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. Excellent as an experience, less so as a beer.

That’s something. Definitely resembles an old fashioned, maybe a little heavy on the sweet side, but good. Unique for sure. Thx Taylor P.!

I think if this was a little colder it would have cracked the 4s. Strong spice. Very light for a barrel aged

I dont get that it is 11%. It is too sweet, did this finish fermentation? It is fruity, maybe too much so.

Not exactly an Old Fashioned, but it isn't bad, either.

Strong vanilla character with wood, orange, cherry aroma and caramel like flavor. Strong or medium sweetness, mild bitterness. Mediums carbonation, medium body (not too heavy although high ABV). Vanilla, orange like aftertastes. Very good!
