Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Cherry and orange backed by bourbon and a nice brown. Tangerine finish. Well done

Might be better as a fall release. A bit much for summer.

Excellent take on a cocktail in a beer. Adjuncts are well balanced yet pronounced. Cherry, vanilla and orange mingle well in a malty creamy barley wine base.

Faint orange up front and cherry afterwards. Barrel aged goodness. A touch sweet

Pretty decent! Never had a beer like this one! Overall, it's tasty. Almost a whiskey orange aftertaste. 🍻

Interesting. It's a beer cocktail. Very similar to an old fashion.

Smells and tastes like an old fashioned. A bit heavy in the orange and cherry.

Somehow this works…I was skeptical given the description and this flavor mix isn’t what I might normally like…but it’s so unique and great.

As a bourbon & old fashioned drinker, this is very enjoyable. Cherry and orange profile is reminiscent & get enough bourbon notes. Tossing some Angostura in next one!

I dig it. It’s just the way I like my old-fashioneds, with bright citrus peel and cherry notes.

Very easy drinking for 11% abv. Orange peel flavors increase as beer warms. I’d definitely pick up a couple more
