Never a bad KBS,but not my favorite adjuncts. Not overwhelming but not real pleasant pepper instead of usual coffee.

Stay In Stout L

Very nice. Tastes like version of Mackinac KBS (my favorite KBS variant) but barrel aging is not nearly as strong - thought was a non-BA version

Snowbound Vanilla Porter L

Great addition to Founders lineup. Their classic porter always solid and this gives a nice sweet vanilla twist

Ginger, Spice, Barreled And Nice L

Too much ginger for me right now… these will definitely need to mellow

KBS Espresso (2021) L

Coffee fell off hard, but still that delicious KBS base. Became basically any other aged variant

Never had the OG, but this beer rocks. Sweetness, almost floral/berry, some oak barrel. Their BA series is doing great things again

Very nice, cognac forward, good body & big booze. Honestly, 8 oz is actually a perfect format for a big beer like this, bravo!

Love this one. Huge nuttycoffee up front (like my morning coffee), with a typical kbs coffee bourbon finish. As a fan of hazelnut flavor overall (though nut itself lacks flavor), this is killer! 4.6

Frootwood (2021) L

Have come to enjoy this more over time. It’s a good beer, cherry & maple make sweet… but we’ll balanced with the bourbon. Definitely sweeter but glad it’s back.

Scarlet Dawn IPA L

Style not many are making anymore. Nice to enjoy as a one-off

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa L

Not my favorite adjunct kbs, but improving as warms. Cinnamon first & boozy, with cocoa, coffee, vanilla notes as expected. Lacks body of most kbs. Still solid beer

Bottle shop series been great. This is another nice one, smooth with rich vanilla/chocolate. Lighter on barrel/bourbon than many of their BAs but still there. 4+

As a bourbon & old fashioned drinker, this is very enjoyable. Cherry and orange profile is reminiscent & get enough bourbon notes. Tossing some Angostura in next one!

I really like this beer! Didn’t care for grapefruit last year, yet to try the pear, but the original is a nice treat every year!

Enjoy the flavor, even if tad sweeter than their usual. Porter base could use bit more roastiness or some coffee, but nice subtle bourbon finish. 4.1, may retake better.

2020 bottling, big coffee, nice bourbon, creaminess. Good, though not sure as good as last year. Also think prefer this years maple fudge variant. Still a very nice BA stout

Big Luscious (2020) L

Glad they brought this back. Sweet but nicely balanced between raspberries and dark chocolate w/ roasty RIS malts. At price point, we’ll worth it and tasty!
