Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Has to warm up a bit to get the flavors, but it's all there. Barrel aged and old fashioned.

Very unusual and complex barrel-aged brown ale, taking notes from the Old Fashioned cocktail. Lots of cherry and orange notes collide with vanilla bourbon warmth. Delicious!

Hint of oaky bourbon on the nose, faint cherry & vanilla. Fairly thick body, moderate carbonation. Lots of caramel on the finish, b/w vanilla & maraschino cherry. A true Old Fashioned in a beer. Delightful!

This is delicious. The aromatics is JUST as described on the bottle, finishing off with the peel of an orange. The flavor is so much a delicious highball. NOMS!

Super complex and a different flavor profile than I’m used to, but delicious! You get orange right away followed by hints of cherry and vanilla.
