Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

AJs Beer Advent Day 12. I really like this one, lots of orange peel and dried fruit. The only thing that sucks about this situation is that I have to watch this shitty team play while I drink it

This is surprisingly tasty. Barrel aged, hints of cherry and orange citrus. Aromatic and delicious! 🍻

Pretty mild overall. Subtle orange and cherry. Barrel almost too mild in the background.

Caramel, orange peel and vanilla: I'm sold. Some booze at the end but otherwise very nice and balanced drifter.

Very tasty. Plenty of bourbon taste. Almost like a slightly watered down old fashioned

Delicious. Plenty of bourbon flavor but not overpowering with the fruitiness.

Terrific nose, taste isn't as strong as nose. Complex nevertheless, and very good cherry, vanilla, dried fruit, and spices.

Bourbon. Brown sugar. Vanilla. Should I say bourbon again. Really good. Make sure you have a driver if you have a 4 pack.

De sinaasappelschil erg duidelijk..de basis is flink moutig..en de bourbon vind ik in de details..beetje stroop en honing-ish toetsen..

I mean, the score is subjective right? I do not wanna give more than 4 score for this beer, bur I know the purpose of this beer and I’m sure it is very unique and weird. I put a value on their experiment. So —>

It was fine. I probably wouldn't buy it again. Seems like they didn't commit one way or the other. Enjoying it with the first snow of the season.

Interesting play on an old fashioned. Lots of flavors going on. Kind of hard to dissect. Getting a lot of orange peel and maraschino cherry. Pretty good, but I'm glad I only bought one 😁

Not sure what to expect here, but I'm excited. Plenty of oak on the nose, with just a bit of orange, cherry, and some coffee. The barrel flavor is obvious from the start, as is some booziness, but the cherry, orange, and coffee notes combine very well.

Dark brown hue, fruity with orange and cherry up front, followed by vanilla, caramel and a heap of bourbon to cap it off. Loving this very unique barrel aged brown
