Not terrible. I normally hate this beer, thin and superficial. But this 2016 isn’t half bad.

A lil more fizzy than the 2017. Finishes with a bitter chocolatey oak. Definitely stronger though. Still initially sweet

On left. Bottled 2/16/2016, 12.4%, aged at home 5 years. Aroma: brewed coffee, notes of chocolate and bourbon. Flavor: tons of oak, still some alcohol flavor after aging, coffee, very dark chocolate, bourbon heat, but not as sharp as 5 years ago.

Tummaa suklaata ja kahvia paljon tuoksussa. Maku yllättävän tasainen, loppu todella karvas kuten näissä viskitynnyreissä yleensä. Jälkimaku pitkä. Olisko tuoreena parempi?

Duft af chokolade, kaffe og frugt. Fløjlsblød, lidt smag af whisky, chokolade og kaffe. Meget sødme og karamel, men ikke alt for meget, eftersmag af lidt kokos. I længden bliver den meget boozy.

BBA, Smoky, Boozy. Not sure if this has passed the best before date? Anyway, still very enjoyable. Very campfirey feel with the smoke and roast.
