Smoky and boozy. Nice malt base and aging really shows up.

Tasted in 2020 from draft. Sweetness is gone, but maybe also some of those tastes, which earned 4.25 for this beer earlier.

Oaky caramel, dryness probably from alcohol. Could actually use more sweetness. Hint of those barrel chemical notes in scent. Alcohol warming in the end.

Already from the first sniff I knew that this would be great. The barrel-aging comes forth great in the nose and also has hints of raisins and a little plum. The taste is sweet, it has layers and carries a bit caramel. Lovely.

Revisiting another Founders brew after 1 more year. 1 month shy of 4 years since it was bottled. 11.1 % and it improved since last year. Very nice đ. I hope I have another one left!

Amazingly smooth for such a strong beer. Tons of character, vanilla, nutty, smoke... Incredible.
